Meet Lauren

Lauren H Brandenburg is a wife, mother, teacher, storyteller, author, and purveyor of lovely things. After homeschooling her children for over ten years, Lauren made the decision to return to the traditional classroom to share with teens her love of writing and great literature. She uses this same love, along with her spirit of wonder and faith, to delight and entertain readers young and old. She is an active member of American Christian Fiction Writers and is on staff with the Realm Makers conference. She was a 2020 finalist for The People’s Book Prize (UK), received the American Christian Fiction Writer’s Carol Award for Contemporary Fiction, recipient of two Illumination Book Awards including the 2022 Gold Enduring Light award for Christian Fiction, and was a Selah Award finalist in both Women’s and Middle-Grade Fiction. Lauren lives with her husband Jamie and two teens in a lovely little town just south of Nashville, Tennessee where they are highly entertained by their Bernedoodle, Brutus.
